Hotel Arrangements
You can book your rooms online at the Westin Web site.  If possible, please have your reservations confrimed by June 1. The block of rooms are from Wednesday, July 20 to Wednesday, July 27. Please feel free to stay for the entire week or just a few days. The Westin does require a two night deposit up front but the rest of your stay will not be charged to your credit card until you arrive in July

Travel Arrangements
Ellen Hanzl (Joe's sister) has offered to help with the airfare. She suggested that you first look on the internet like expedia.com or cheaptickets.com since most of the time the cheapest airfare can be found on the internet. If you do find airfare, please call or email Ellen at the contact information below before you purchase the airfare and let her know what you have found. She will then double check and make sure that a cheaper fare does not exists. If she can't do better than what you have found on the internet, she will let you know to go ahead and get the airfare that you found on the internet.

Ferry Schedule

To get from St. Thomas to St. John, you have three options:

  1. Take the Westin ferry from Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas direct to the Westin Resort. The fee is $70 round trip per person and it includes any trips that you might want to take during your stay to St. Thomas if you would like to go shopping one day.
     
  2. Take the ferry from Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas to Cruz Bay, St. John. The ferry ride is about 45 minutes. It's a short cab ride from the airport to the ferry in Charlotte.
     
  3. Take a taxi from Charlotte Amalie to Red Hook, St. Thomas. Cab fare would run you around $12 per person plus a $1.00 per bag. The length of the cab ride depends on what time of day you go and how many stops the cab makes. The shortest would be around 30 minutes or the longest would be around an hour. You would then take a ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay, St. John. The ferry ride is about 20 minutes.

Once you reach Cruz Bay, you would take a cab to the Westin Resort. It's about a 5 minute ride and the cost is around $3. They may charge you a few dollars extra for luggage (depends on how much luggage you have).
